Thank you to everyone who joined us for this challenge.  Again we had a hard time picking the winner and top three as there were so many wonderful entries!  Thanks to all of you for joining in on the fun and  We look forward to seeing you all in our Sketch #4 challenge!

Welcome to our April 15th  Themed Challenge!  This time we'd like to see cards you make using Things with Wings!  Anything that can fly AND has wings is what we want to see on your cards.  It could be an airplane, a bird, a butterfly, an angel, a fairy, a bee....well, you get the idea!

Remember,  Cards in Envy is for cards that fit into a regular first class postage envelope.  The most common size being the A2 (5.5 inch x 4.25 inch) OR a square card ( 5 inch x 5 inch or SMALLER).  And please remember no lumpy bumpy embellishments.  A good rule of thumb is--only one layer on foam tape, no buttons on foam tape, flatter flowers (paper flowers are good), no rosettes, no super thick buttons or brads, etc.  If all layers and embellishments together are thicker than 1/4 inch then it's not a card for Cards in Envy.

The challenge starts today, Monday, April 15th and runs until May 5th.  We will pick one winner (the best over all) and the Top Three. And each  will earn a Cards in Envy Badge for their blog.

And now some inspiring cards by our Design Team featuring Things with Wings!

Now, it's your turn! Create a card that will fit in an envy that features Things with Wings  and share it with us!  Winners will be eligible for a Cards in Envy Blog Button.

Remember all cards linked must be flat to fit in an envelope. No lumpy, bumpy embellishments and   6x6 cards are NOT eligible. Square cards must be 5x5 or smaller, regular cards should be A2 or 4.25 x 5.5  Entries for cards that clearly will not fit in an envy for first class postage will be deleted.  Limit 3 entries per challenge and all entries must be current blog posts, no backlinking.  Thank you!

Please visit the Design Teams blogs by clicking on their names above their card creations and let them know you were there.  Thank you and have fun creating! ~Sandy

  1. Can it be an old card or ones that have never been posted and how many entries can we post?

  4. Thank you for the challenge. Great work by the DT! I just have to say, I found you today through the Feline Playful blog, and I LOVE the idea of your challenge blog!! I see all these gorgeous cards, but they've got so many embellishments they'll be 3" thick! I can't compete with that when I have to mail all my cards. LOL I'm so looking forward to joining with your challenges in the future! =D

  8. Thank you so much for choosing my card as winner. It is very much appreciated and was a wonderful surprise. I have been on holiday and using my ipad - with rubbish internet connection I could not reply until today when I returned. Many, many thanks again.
