From the Heart Card Challenge

Click >HERE< for the White on White Card Challenge Badge Winners

Today, February 1st,  is a sad day in our card crafting online community.  Early this morning after this post was scheduled to go live, our dear honorary Cards in Envy Designer, Denise Gray, passed away after an almost 2 year battle with cancer.  She impacted many with her love of creating beautiful cards and was the co-host for this card challenge blog.  Cards in Envy was her idea.  She is loved by many and will be missed so much.  Your thoughts and prayers for her husband, son and daughter and other family members and friends will be greatly appreciated.  Good-bye Denise, we love you and know you are making beautiful cards in heaven with no more pain.

And of course, Denise would want us to continue to make cards for this blog challenge.  Our theme is "From the Heart" which is so appropriate for today.  Join us in making "From the Heart" cards in honor of Denise...

Please note:  Our challenge for the next two weeks is still "From the Heart" however, if you'd like to make a card in honor of Denise and would like to send it to her family--a sympathy card, thinking of you, all our love etc. with a heart on the card would be appropriate and accepted for this challenge.  Also, this one time only because Denise had card friends all over the world, we will waive our "No Square Cards" rule and A2 card size requirement.  We hope you will join us in honoring this beautiful and creative lady.  If you need her family's mailing address, please contact me via email at: strefger at gmail dot com with " Denise Address Please" as your subject.

Hello everyone! It's February!  That means our favorite "love" day will be here soon and of course that means it's time for a  "love" card challenge.  Our theme is FROM THE HEART (love cards and/or Valentines).  As always cards for this challenge must be A2 size (4.25" x 5.5") and flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing. We can't wait to see what you all share with us!

To inspire you, our Cards in Envy Designers came up with some wonderful love and/or Valentine cards!  Please click on the link by their name to go to their own blogs for more details about their card and leave them some comment love so they'll know you stopped by.

White on White Card Challenge

The badge winners for the Shiny New Challenge are posted >HERE<.

Hello Cards in Envy card peeps!  Here we are already past the middle of January 2016 and at the third Monday of the month!  Wow!  That means it's time for a new challenge here on the blog.  This time, though it's winter here in the USA, we are not going to ask for snow cards. BUT we are going to ask for cards that are WHITE ON WHITE!  That means create and share white cards, any theme, as long as they are mostly white ( a tiny bit of color is okay).  Remember, all cards must be A2 size (4.25" x 5.5") and flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing!

And now, here are some wonderful white on white cards by our Cards in Envy Designers!  Please click on the blog link by their name for more details about their card creation and leave them some comment love while you are there.

Shiny New Year Card Challenge

The badge winners for the Let It Snow challenge are posted >HERE<.

Hello and Happy New Year!  This is our first challenge for 2016 and we are looking for cards with a theme of SHINY NEW YEAR!  Now there are a couple of ways to do a card for this challenge. 1)You can make a card for New Years OR 2)You can make a card that is shiny!  Any theme is okay as long as your card has shiny things on it.  Hopefully this is clear enough and as always your card MUST be an A2 size (4.25" x 5.5") AND flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing.

To inspire you, here are the cards created by some of our Cards in Envy Designers for the SHINY NEW YEAR card challenge.  Please click on the link by their name for more details about their card creations and when you are on their blog, leave some comment love so they'll know you stopped by.
