It's a Birthday Party!

Not ours, but someone's, right?  For this challenge we want to celebrate BIRTHDAYS!  The theme is Birthday Party which means we are looking for BIRTHDAY CARDS!  Cards, of course, must be A2 size (4.5" x 5.5") AND flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing.  Please read the rules and be aware that if you post a square or shaped card that it will be deleted from the linky without notice regardless of it's size.  Our challenges are for the specific size card listed in our rules. We know this is harder for those overseas but if you'll compare the size listed and create accordingly, you'll be fine.

First, a bit of news to share---our Cards in Envy Designer, Ellen needed to take a break so we have bid her a fond farewell BUT we added two NEW Designers to our team!  Be sure to leave a comment to welcome Donna and Sherry!  Also, click on the Cards in Envy Designer tab above to read their bio and see their photo so you'll know who they are.  Many of you may already know them from  Operation Write Home and know that they are wonderful at creating simple, A2 Cards that can be mailed.  Donna and Sherry, we are thrilled to have you on board with us here at Cards in Envy!

That means we may have up to 8 In the Mailbox cards for a challenge.  We decided to go with this fun method as each Designer has their own unique style and preference.  Each chosen may grab one of our fun badges for their blog! The badges for the challenge will be in the winners post following the close of the challenge after all the Designer votes are in.  The winners will also be announced on our Facebook Page, so come Like us so you'll know quickly if you were a winner.

Well, it's summer time for most of us, finally.  And it's a perfect time for a summer card challenge! This time our theme is JUST BEACHY!  So all cards must be about the beach, ocean or sea.  We are excited to see what you create and share with us!  Remember, this is a CARD ONLY challenge and your cards must be A2 size (4.25" x 5.5") AND flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing.

Hello, we're excited for this challenge as it celebrates Halloween!  For the rest of October  we want to see cards that fit the theme of "Any WITCH way you can!"  So your cards for this challenge need to have a witch or witches on it or at least some part of a witch such as a witch hat, witch shoes etc.  Your card can be scary or cute--whichever you like.  Just remember it must be an A2 card ONLY (4.25" x 5.5") and flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing.

School Colors Challenge!

It looks like most of the kids have gone back to school by now, so we here at Cards in Envy want to show our school spirit by creating cards that use "SCHOOL COLORS."  What is your favorite school's colors? Red and White?  Blue and White?  Black and Gold?  This is a color challenge and you chose the colors! Create an A2 (4.5" x 5.5") card that is flat enough to fit in an envy using at least TWO school colors.  Now you don't have to make a school card (though you can) but we do ask that you share in your post what your school colors are.  You can even share the name of your school if you like.

For this challenge, we want to celebrate "Best of Friends!"  Please create and share an A2 card that depicts "friends"--two or more "buddies" OR a card for a friend--sentiment or card image/design must be specifically for a friend.

As always, your card must be A2 size (4.25" X 5.5") and flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing. If it requires extra postage then it is not a Card in Envy card.
