Click >HERE< for the Let's Hear it for the Boys Badge Winners!

Hello, hello! It's time for a new card challenge!  We love the color blue and we'd love to see your cards featuring lots of BLUE but wait!  We also want you to use some Distress Ink on your card and if it's blue, all the better.  Just remember your card must be flat enough to fit in an envelope for mailing.

Our Cards in Envy Designers have a wonderful assortment of Feeling BLUE and "DISTRESSED" cards for you to be inspired by.  For more details about each card creation, click on the blog link by each Designer's name.

We'd love to see your Feeling Blue and "Distressed" card!

Here are a few reminders about our challenge requirements:
  • No lumpy, bumpy cards.  Elements on your card need to be relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4") so your card would fit in an envy (envelope) for mailing
  • Limit entries to 3 per challenge.
  • No Back Linking--cards must be posted to your blog or an online album during the challenge dates. If it was posted online BEFORE the beginning of our challenge, it cannot be linked.
  • Entry must be for the current theme.
  • Cards Only--NO TAGS

Additional rules can be found under the Challenge Guidelines tab at the top under our blog header.  Entries not following our rules and not for the current challenge theme will be deleted without notice or comment. We accept any size/shape of card BUT all cards must be flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing (no thicker than 1/4") which means no lumpy, bumpy embellishments. Challenge ends Sunday July 1, 2018  at 6:00 p.m. Central Daylight Savings Time.

Our Designers will be voting on the cards after the challenge ends and the winners will be announced by Wednesday morning  following the close of the challenge.. We will have one FIRST CLASS which is the card that receives the most votes from the Designers and considered the best overall card for the theme.  The Designers will also pick one card as their personal favorite for an IN THE MAILBOX badge. That means we may have up to 10 In the Mailbox cards for a challenge.  We decided to go with this fun method as each Designer has their own unique style and preference.  Each chosen may grab one of our fun badges for their blog! The badges for the challenge will be in the winners post following the close of the challenge after all the Designer votes are in.  The winners will also be announced on our Facebook Page, so come Like us so you'll know quickly if you are a winner.

Thank you for sharing your card that is flat enough to mail in an envelope with us at Cards in Envy!

Let's Hear it for the Boys! Card Challenge

Click >HERE< for the Feeling Sketchy card challenge BADGE WINNERS!

Welcome to our first card challenge for the month of June! In addition to being known for graduations and weddings, June is famous for, of course, Father's Day. Which means we might need some masculine cards, right?  So, for this challenge we are calling it "Let's Hear it for the Boys!" and we want to see your card(s) you will create for "boys."  It can be Father's Day, Graduation, Birthday, etc.whatever occasion you need except it must be clearly for a boy or man. And remember, your card must be flat enough to fit in an envelope for mailing.

To inspire you and give you some great ideas, our CIE Designers have created this fabulous lineup of masculine cards.  For more details about each card, click on their blog link by their name.
