Toes in the Sand (Beach Card) Challenge

Here we are in August!  It's time for a new challenge at Cards in Envy and time for a new 6 month term for our designers.  We've said goodbye to Danie, Denise and Kristie but hello to Annie, Ellen and Kathy! We are so thrilled to have these three talented card crafters with us.  They've been active participants in our challenges in the past and have each won one or more of our challenge badges!  Please visit their blogs and leave them some congratulations and to learn more about our design team click on the Cards in Envy Designers link above under our header.

And now, on with our challenge!  This time we want to see Toes in the Sand (Beach theme) A2 Cards! Remember your cards must be flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing!  Here are the fabulously lovely and fun cards by our designers.  Karen did not create a card for this challenge as she is on a personal break but will be back with us next time!

Now it's time for you to show us your Toes in the Sand (Beach Theme)  A2 Cards that are flat enough to fit in an envelope and be mailed for first class postage.  

Here are a few reminders about our challenge requirements:

1. No square cards.  All cards entered must be A2 size (4.25" x 5.5")
2. No lumpy, bumpy cards.  Elements on your card need to be relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4")
3. Limit entries to 3 per challenge.
4. No Back Linking.  Cards must be posted to your blog or online album during the challenge dates.  If it was posted online BEFORE the beginning of our challenge, it cannot be linked.
5. Entry must be for the current theme: Toes in the Sand!  A2 Cards

WE HAVE A NEW WAY OF PICKING OUR BADGE WINNERS STARTING WITH THIS CHALLENGE!

Our Designers will be voting on their favorite cards which will be announced on our blog  the Tuesday or Wednesday following the close of the challenge.. We will have one FIRST CLASS which is the card that receives the most votes from the Designers and each Designer will pick one card as their favorite for  IN THE MAILBOX. That means we may have up to 10 In the Mailbox cards for a challenge.  We decided to go with this fun method as each Designer has their own unique style and preference.  Each chosen will receive one of our fun badges for their blog!  The winners will also be announced on our Facebook Page, so come Like us so you'll know quickly if you were a winner.

THIS IS A CARDS ONLY CHALLENGE.  Entries not following our rules and guidelines will be deleted.  Challenge ends Sunday,  August 17th  at 6 p.m. Central Time.
