We had lots of "singing" and variety with our INSPIRED BY A SONG challenge!  After the votes were all in from the CIE Designers, we had our First Class Badge Winner!

Hello and welcome again to another Cards in Envy Challenge! This time we want to be inspired--INSPIRED BY A SONG!  That means that for the most part this is an anything goes challenge as long as it is an A2 card (4.25" x 5.5") and flat enough to fit in an envy AND was inspired by a song. It's up to you how you interpret and design your card from your song inspiration BUT we do ask that you share in your blog post the title of your song that inspired you.  If you don't share the song title, your card will not be eligible for a badge win.  Also, please make sure that you read the guidelines and rules for our challenge. We are still getting cards that do not fit our challenge.  We put this in EACH challenge:  NO SQUARE OR SHAPED CARDS. If you link one of those, your entry WILL be deleted with no comment.  Also, if it is clear that your card is NOT A2 size, it will be deleted as well.

Now that we are done with a tad bit of "housekeeping" regarding our rules, we are ready to share the A2 cards created by our CIE Designers for your inspiration!  Please click on each designer's blog link to read more details about their card creation and leave them some individual comment love! Underneath each card photo, we are sharing the title of the song that inspired the card creation.

Now it's time for you to create a INSPIRED BY A SONG card and share it with us in the linky below. Make sure it is an A2 card (4.25" x 5.5")  flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing.  IMPORTANT! Be sure to share the title of your song on your own blog post!

Here are a few reminders about our challenge requirements:

• No square or shaped cards.  All cards entered must be A2 size (4.25" x 5.5")
• No lumpy, bumpy cards.  Elements on your card need to be relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4")
• Limit entries to 3 per challenge.
• No Back Linking.  Cards must be posted to your blog or online album during the challenge dates.  If it was posted online BEFORE the beginning of our challenge, it cannot be linked.
• Entry must be for the current theme: INSPIRED BY A SONG (Title of Song must be shared on your blog post with your card.)

Our Designers will be voting on their favorite cards which will be announced on our blog  the Tuesday or Wednesday following the close of the challenge.. We will have one FIRST CLASS which is the card that receives the most votes from the Designers and each Designer will pick one card as their favorite for  IN THE MAILBOX. That means we may have up to 8 In the Mailbox cards for a challenge.  We decided to go with this fun method as each Designer has their own unique style and preference.  Each chosen may grab one of our fun badges for their blog! The badges for the challenge will be in the winners post following the close of the challenge after all the Designer votes are in.  The winners will also be announced on our Facebook Page, so come Like us so you'll know quickly if you were a winner. 

THIS IS A CARDS ONLY CHALLENGE.  Entries not following our rules and guidelines will be deleted without notice or comment. REMEMBER!  NO SQUARE or SHAPED CARDS   Challenge ends Sunday, September 20, 2015   at 6 p.m. Central Daylight Time.
