Green Things Card Challenge

Hello and welcome to our first card challenge for March!  Because of St. Patrick's Day and the hopes of Spring, March is when we think of the color GREEN.  So that's our challenge theme.  GREEN THINGS.  That means we want to see your cards that feature lots of green!  Any theme as long as we see mostly green on your card which can be any size and any shape but flat enough to mail in an envelope.

We'd love to see your GREEN THINGS cards. Please read over our challenge requirements and then share your card in the linky at the end of this post. 

Here are a few reminders about our challenge requirements:

• No lumpy, bumpy cards.  Elements on your card need to be relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4") so your card would fit in an envy (envelope) for mailing
• Limit entries to 3 per challenge.
• No Back Linking--cards must be posted to your blog or an online album during the challenge dates. If it was posted online BEFORE the beginning of our challenge, it cannot be linked.
• Entry must be for the current theme.
• Cards Only--NO TAGS

Additional rules can be found under the Challenge Guidelines tab at the top under our blog header.

Our Designers will be voting on the cards after the challenge ends and the winners will be announced by Wednesday morning  following the close of the challenge.. We will have one FIRST CLASS which is the card that receives the most votes from the Designers and considered the best overall card for the theme.  The Designers will also pick one card as their personal favorite for an IN THE MAILBOX badge. That means we may have up to 10 In the Mailbox cards for a challenge.  We decided to go with this fun method as each Designer has their own unique style and preference.  Each chosen may grab one of our fun badges for their blog! The badges for the challenge will be in the winners post following the close of the challenge after all the Designer votes are in.  The winners will also be announced on our Facebook Page, so come Like us so you'll know quickly if you are a winner. 

THIS IS A CARDS ONLY CHALLENGE--NO TAGS.  Entries not following our rules and not for the current challenge theme will be deleted without notice or comment. We accept any size/shape of card BUT all cards must be flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing (no thicker than 1/4") which means no lumpy, bumpy embellishments. Challenge ends Sunday March 18  at 6:00 p.m. Central Daylight Savings Time. 

Leave a comment and link your card in the linky below. We prefer that your card be showcased on your blog and linked to our challenge blog post.  If you do not have a blog, you may link your Instagram post of a photo of your card as long as we can go to the link and leave a comment.  Links to photo album on Google or that are password protected  and  videos are not allowed.  Thank you for sharing your card that is flat enough to mail in an envelope with us at Cards in Envy!

Give It Some Heart!

Wow! We had a fabulous turnout for out last challenge with Love & Valentine cards!  Since it's still February, the month of love, we decided to continue with a HEART theme for this card challenge. Yes, Valentine's Day is over but that doesn't mean you stop putting hearts on your cards.  This challenge is titled:  GIVE IT SOME HEART which means we want to see one or more hearts on your card but it can be ANY theme.  Just make sure there's a heart or two on it!  Cards for our challenges can be any shape and any size as long as they are flat enough to fit in an envelope for mailing. Cards that have extra thick embellishments such as buttons, metal, hard roses etc. will not be accepted for our challenge. We also do not accept tags.   Please read our guidelines before linking your card.  Thank you so much!

Love You So Much! Badge Winners

Wow! Just Wow! We had so many wonderful Love and Valentine cards for our "Love You so Much!" card challenge!  Thank you to all of you for sharing your beautiful cards.  We wish we could pick you all as a winner but can only have one for a First Class Card.  After the CIE Designers voted, we had our winner by a very narrow margin!
