Patriotic Please {Red, White & Blue} Card Challenge

Hello and welcome to another card challenge with us here at Cards in Envy. This time our theme is "Patriotic Please" cards with red, white AND blue. Your card does not have to be "patriotic" but MUST have those three colors. We chose this theme as tomorrow is our Independence Day in the USA and we love the colors of our flag. Of course, as mentioned earlier, your card does not have to be a patriotic or 4th of July card (though we'd love to see it if you made one)--you can create a card with flowers, other images and anything else in the red, white and blue color theme.

We'd love to see your Patriotic Please (Red, White & Blue) cards. Please read over our challenge requirements and then share your card in the linky at the end of this post.

Here are a few reminders about our challenge requirements:

No lumpy, bumpy cards. Elements on your card need to be relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4") so your card would fit in an envy (envelope) for mailing
Limit entries to 3 per challenge.
No Back Linking--cards must be posted to your blog or an online album during the challenge dates. If it was posted online BEFORE the beginning of our challenge, it cannot be linked.
Entry must be for the current theme.
Cards Only--NO TAGS

Additional rules can be found under the Challenge Guidelines tab at the top under our blog header.

Our Designers will be voting on the cards after the challenge ends and the winners will be announced by Wednesday morning following the close of the challenge.. We will have one FIRST CLASS which is the card that receives the most votes from the Designers and considered the best overall card for the theme. The Designers will also pick one card as their personal favorite for an IN THE MAILBOX badge. That means we may have up to 10 In the Mailbox cards for a challenge. We decided to go with this fun method as each Designer has their own unique style and preference. Each chosen may grab one of our fun badges for their blog! The badges for the challenge will be in the winners post following the close of the challenge after all the Designer votes are in. The winners will also be announced on our Facebook Page, so come Like us so you'll know quickly if you are a winner.

THIS IS A CARDS ONLY CHALLENGE--NO TAGS. Entries not following our rules and not for the current challenge theme will be deleted without notice or comment. We accept any size/shape of card BUT all cards must be flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing (no thicker than 1/4") which means no lumpy, bumpy embellishments. Challenge ends Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. Central Daylight Savings Time.

White on White Badge Winners

Hello, sorry that the badge winner announcement is a day late for the White on White challenge. Yesterday was a holiday in the USA so the computer did not get turned on. We are done celebrating and are ready to get things back on track. The white on white card challenge proved to be a big challenge for many of the card creators out there and we ended up with a smaller group of participants. But that doesn't stop us from having winners!

White on White Card Challenge

It's time for a new card challenge! Our theme this time may be a bit more difficult or easier, depending on who you ask. We are looking for WHITE ON WHITE CARDS. Please see the designer examples for more clarification. No color paper or embellishments--white only, please. You may use a black or color ink if needed for your sentiment and black ink for your image but do not add color. When we look at your card we must see white on white. Your card can be any size and any shape but has to be flat enough to fit in an envelope for mailing. This would be a great time to make some beautiful wedding cards or snowy winter Christmas cards.

As mentioned above, if you are confused on the White on White challenge theme, look to these fabulous samples by our CIE Designers. For more details about their card creation, click on the blog name link by their name and while there please leave them some comment love.
