Stripes Card Challenge

favorite pattern among paper crafters--stripes.  And for this challenge we want to see your cards that feature STRIPES.  Either stripe paper or stripe design but clearly STRIPES.  Your cards may be any size and any shape as long as they fit flat enough in an envelope for mailing. No lumpy, bumpy flowers or buttons, please.

We'd love to see your cards with STRIPES.  Please read over our challenge requirements and then share your card in the linky at the end of this post. 

Here are a few reminders about our challenge requirements:
  • No lumpy, bumpy cards.  Elements on your card need to be relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4") so your card would fit in an envy (envelope) for mailing
  • Limit entries to 3 per challenge.
  • No Back Linking--cards must be posted to your blog or an online album during the challenge dates. If it was posted online BEFORE the beginning of our challenge, it cannot be linked.
  • Entry must be for the current theme.
  • Cards Only--NO TAGS

Additional rules can be found under the Challenge Guidelines tab at the top under our blog header.

Our Designers will be voting on the cards after the challenge ends and the winners will be announced by Wednesday morning  following the close of the challenge.. We will have one FIRST CLASS which is the card that receives the most votes from the Designers and considered the best overall card for the theme.  The Designers will also pick one card as their personal favorite for an IN THE MAILBOX badge. That means we may have up to 10 In the Mailbox cards for a challenge.  We decided to go with this fun method as each Designer has their own unique style and preference.  Each chosen may grab one of our fun badges for their blog! The badges for the challenge will be in the winners post following the close of the challenge after all the Designer votes are in.  The winners will also be announced on our Facebook Page, so come Like us so you'll know quickly if you are a winner. 

THIS IS A CARDS ONLY CHALLENGE--NO TAGS.  Entries not following our rules and not for the current challenge theme will be deleted without notice or comment. We accept any size/shape of card BUT all cards must be flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing (no thicker than 1/4") which means no lumpy, bumpy embellishments. Challenge ends Sunday, July 17th,  2016 at 6:00 p.m. Central Daylight Savings Time.

No Girls Allowed Card Challenge

Hello everyone! I hope you are ready for a new challenge here on our Cards in Envy blog!  Since it is now June and we celebrate Dads on Father's Day, we thought we'd go with a card challenge for the guys! You don't have to make a Father's Day card--you can make a card for any occasion BUT it must be masculine for our "No Girls Allowed" card challenge! So make a card for a guy or a boy and link it below. Remember your card may be any size and any shape, but it MUST be a card--no tags allowed. Also, your card needs to be able to fit in an envelope for mailing.
