Spring is in the Air Challenge

Hello and welcome to another challenge here at Cards in Envy! It's that time of year when we think of Spring colors, flowers and Easter! So for this challenge our theme is SPRING IS IN THE AIR! We are looking for cards that depict SPRING! Spring colors, Spring flowers or Easter designs. Your cards must be A2 size (4.25" x 5.5") and flat enough to fit in an envy for our challenge.

Now it's your turn to share your Spring is in the Air card! Make sure it is an A2 card flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing.

Here are a few reminders about our challenge requirements:

No square cards. All cards entered must be A2 size (4.25" x 5.5")
No lumpy, bumpy cards. Elements on your card need to be relatively flat (no thicker than 1/4")
Limit entries to 3 per challenge.
No Back Linking. Cards must be posted to your blog or online album during the challenge dates. If it was posted online BEFORE the beginning of our challenge, it cannot be linked.
Entry must be for the current theme: SPRING is in the Air!

Additional rules can be found under the Challenge Guidelines tab at the top under our blog header.

Our Designers will be voting on their favorite cards which will be announced on our blog the Tuesday or Wednesday following the close of the challenge.. We will have one FIRST CLASS which is the card that receives the most votes from the Designers and each Designer will pick one card as their favorite for IN THE MAILBOX. That means we may have up to 10 In the Mailbox cards for a challenge. We decided to go with this fun method as each Designer has their own unique style and preference. Each chosen may grab one of our fun badges for their blog! The badges for the challenge will be in the winners post following the close of the challenge after all the Designer votes are in. The winners will also be announced on our Facebook Page, so come Like us so you'll know quickly if you were a winner.

THIS IS A CARDS ONLY CHALLENGE. Entries not following our rules and guidelines will be deleted without notice or comment. PLEASE NOTE: NO SQUARE CARDS Challenge ends Sunday, April 5, 2015 at 6 p.m. Central Time.

Anything Goes with a BOW Challenge!

Yes, you read that right! This time our challenge is Anything Goes BUT you must have a BOW on your card! Your bow can be made of ribbon, paper, on the paper, in the image or made of twine. And it can be with any theme--that's the Anything Goes part. Remember all cards for this challenge must be A2 size (4.25" x 5.5") AND flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing. Now most bows can be squeezed flat to fit in an envy so we are not going to stress or disqualify a card for have a thicker bow than usual on our types of cards; however, our designers will be looking for cards that are as flat as possible for our First Class and In the Mailbox cards so keep that in mind when creating your card for this challenge.
